Ready-made themes are one of the most time-efficient aspects of getting online quickly with a site that is just as attractive as it is functional. All themes are not created equal, however. The amount of functionality built into a WordPress theme can vary greatly with the best functionality being provided by premium themes. Most include administrative functions to easily change logos, color schemes and feature additional widgets for content placement and built in image/content sliders while others offer only some or none of those features.
In addition, care must be taken to ensure that a given theme will function with version 3 of WordPress as not all themes have been updated or designed with the newest version.
